Item 2: After not being able to find my landlords to ask about it, I wrote them a note asking if I could please see the schedule if the water is to be turned off in the middle of the day. Only when I ran into them did they tell me for sure, and now they're acting really stand-offish to me.
Item 3: After the water escapade, I asked politely if it would be okay if I used my security deposit to pay for the last month's rent (you know, like my ROOMMATE DID.) "No, I need it if the apartment needs cleaning," was her response. My apartment, fyi is cleaner than their basement (doing all this laundry is gross), AND they hire someone to clean this house once a week. Do you REALLY need $550 to keep in case I don't have a clean place? (Retarded.)
I got an email a little while ago from a guy who wanted more information about what this place was like. I didn't respond to him, but I should have advised him to look elsewhere.
Oh, well. At least I'll get $550 back eventually. And I'm only in here for July and the very end of August, a big thanks here to LA. And then it's on to a spacious paradise with three of my favorite people.
