I'm looking for my former violin teacher, Anne Bodnar. And I suppose the only way she could directly find this is if she googles her own name in quotes and sees this message for her. If she's anything like me, she already does this on a semi-whimsical basis.
Anne gave me violin lessons when I was 12 or 13, and I only stopped taking with her because she moved to another part of town. Even now, over a decade later, I'm still appreciative of her teaching style.
At least, I must be, because I'm emulating an awful lot of it with my own students.
I've googled her name in quotes, but I don't come up with much except for someone associated with law, perhaps in Baltimore. (Which she could be doing these days, for all I know.) But I just have to talk to her... these days, I feel a connection to her.
So please, if you happen to know her, give her my name. Don't even know if she'll remember it (it was a while ago, after all...), but I just want her to know how pivotal she was in my musical career. And if you are Anne, reading this, I guess it may be hard to reach me unless you google my name in quotes...
Please, oh please. The music world is a really small one. Please, someone say you've heard of a person who knows her. Because I really, really, have to thank her.
