"When I was a little girl, I wished to be surrounded by gorgeous men, and now I am... and I should have been more specific." -Margaret Cho
No one could stop the last collapse
This song is great. It starts out with a simple guitar and a solemn voice singing the first verse. Strings come in before the next verse, and at the last chorus, they build to a dramatic climax. A bass, voice, and sole violin accompany the last statement of the verse. If you read further and do a little research on the band, you'll find out that the song is dedicated to their late, former drummer, Sergio. This makes it all the more touching.
The strings are done by yours truly. Thanks, guys. You did a great job mixing this here.
Soon, you will be able to pick up your very own copy of DORK's latest CD. It's entitled "Suck It." Too perfect to add onto my audiography of my ever-more-jaded resume?
It's a fabulous track. I've listened to it over and over and haven't cringed once at my playing - something I usually can't do!
Seriously, DORK, Suck It, Track 10, which is "Goodnight." Hopefully showing up at Best Buy soon!
I'm part of a good CD!
